Role Overview:
- We are seeking a seasoned Property & Casualty Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 10 years of deep expertise in the P&C insurance domain.
- This individual must have significant experience working with property and casualty insurance data, with strong knowledge of data domains and SQL.
- You will work closely with our clients to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable tasks for our development team.
- You will serve as the bridge between the business stakeholders and the offshore development team, ensuring all requirements are communicated clearly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for the offshore team.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in property and casualty insurance, driving solutions and improvements for the client.
- Serve as a liaison between the client and offshore technical teams to ensure the accurate delivery of business requirements.
- Work extensively with P&C insurance data to help develop solutions that meet business and technical needs.
- Review project deliverables to ensure they align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the P&C insurance domain.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
- Extensive experience working with P&C insurance data, including data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing insurance data.
- Deep understanding of P&C insurance processes, including underwriting, claims, policy administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and offshore development teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business language into technical tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex business processes.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a software services environment working with insurance clients.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
